The Prime Minister's Office and the departments under it, held a Tahlil and Reading of Surah Yaasin for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. Conducted by the Security and Law Division, Prime Minister's Office, Department of Adat Istiadat Negara, and Internal Security Department, it took place at the Royal Mausoleum, 21st February afternoon.

Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The reading of Surah Yasin was led by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti, followed by the recitation of Tahlil by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mazanan bin Haji Yusof, Assistant Mufti (buhuth). Meanwhile, Doa Tahlil and Doa Peliharakan Sultan were read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Syar'ie Judge.
